This tutorial was created in PSP 7..it is quite an easy one and it can be followed in other versions of psp with a few adjustments. Any similarities to other baskets is purely coincidental as I have did tutorials online for several years and putting to use what other writers has taught me.
We will start by going to Edit and open a new 400x400Transparent Image.
Flood fill this image with a dark color to help you see your work.
Go to Layers..Make a New Raster Layer and name it Base
You will see numbers on the Bottom Left hand Corner..we will be using these numbers to make this basket.
Go to the Preset tool...Size 3..Ellispe Antalias checked...Vector unchecked
Color Palette Background null Foreground your Gold Pattern
Starting at the numbers on the lower left hand side of screen at 110-290
pull it over to right 238 down to216.. Using the Mover Tool move to middle of graphic.
On the Color Palette (Styles) make the background null by clicking on the small screw. The Forground will be filled with Gold..I'm sure you have Gold in your Gradients or Patterns,
If not download the Gold Foil and open it in your Gradients or Pattern folder in PSP program
D_gold_fold.zip

New Raster Layer...Name Center bar
Setting still the same  Preset Tool  Ellispe..starting at numbers 168- 82 right to 71 down to 212
New Raster Layer...i didn't name this as I am going to merge the three.
you could name it Cross bar...On the Color Palette  (Styles)Put the Gold Pattern on the Background and make Foreground null..in the Preset Tool make the line Size 4
Starting at numbers 67-179... 240-4.. when you have the Crossbar the way you want it...Duplicate it 2 times .move  two toward the bottom ...see Screenshot..merge
using your eraser size 3 erase the overhang in the duplicated layers.
Close out all layers but the Top 3 Merge Visible... Duplicate.. go to Image and flip..make sure they are lined up..merge these two layers visible and name Crossbars. Get the Selections Tool ..Rectangle ..and starting just above the second top bar pull upwards  making sure you have inclosed the top..Delete.. Go to Layers View..click All...Save
