Cutout Tutorial

This looks really best on a textured background......I went to Effects...Texture and Fine Leather.

Image...New....300x100 transparent......flood fill with color of your choice

New Raster Layer

Go to Text...Stroked ..unchecked

Styles...White...Font size 72

Selection checked...

Using upper case lettering type in P.S.P.you will have a transparent image...do not diselect....make a new layer...go to Effects .....cutout..Vertical - 4

Horizontal 6...color ..Opacity61..Blur 3.8..Color Black...do not diselect..make a new layer...Effects...DropShadow..

Color # c0c0c0...Vertical..4...

Horizontal 6...Opacity 71..Blur 3.8

Diselect

Go to Layers...Merge All
