This was created in PSP 7...I am sure it can be done in other versions with a few adjustments
I like playing around in the Paint Shop and I came up with this... and I kinda like it...with different colors it can be really pretty. ....I hope you have as much fun with it as I have.
I really don't know what to call it...Easy Cutout?
This is a Basic Tutorial
Go to File.....New....300x300 Transparent Image.
On your Color Palette (Styles) make the Foreground #cococo
Flood Fill your image. You can change colors later.
Go to Layers.... New Raster Layer..name it Text..size 48 Color White..use a fat text..I used Bookman Old Style...
On your Color Palette (Styles) make the Foreground Black....type in your name ....Go to Layers..Text...Duplicate...now go to Selections...Select All...Float and flood Fill the duplicated text with the Black.....you now have a White and Black text...move the Black text over a little to the right..play
around with it...I have screenshots showing you how you can move and change the looks...if you want the Black on the bottom...go to layers...Arrange and Move Down.
When you have finished playing and like your text..if you want to change the background color..go to your Palette Layers and click on the first layer..(gray)...and choose a color and flood fill..
Go to Layers..Merge Flatten and save as...
